Select materials for your building’s exterior. Choose a roofing style and color. Shingles are standard and there are many colors to choose from, but metal is also an option. Don’t forget to choose a siding style. Wood panel siding comes standard and includes a 50-year warranty. Consider vinyl if you want to keep your storage shed as low maintenance as possible. Also take a moment to look over our heavy duty flooring design. 

Choose your window styles and placement. We offer sizes from 12″x12″ up to 24″x36″ as standard add-ons. The more windows you add, the more natural light you’ll get! Remember to pick out door styles and placement as well. Options range from single and double doors for pedestrians up to 9’x7′ roll-up or garage doors. 

Select your paint and trim colors! Every one of our sheds receives two coats of Lifetime Warranty Sherwin-Williams® Resilience® exterior paint. Keep your entire shed a single color or add an accent color on the trim! We will paint your shed any Sherwin-Williams® color at no additional cost!  Adding accessories like shutters, flower boxes, or a weathervane can really make your shed stand out as well!

Don’t forget important utility features like lofts (available on Standard and Deluxe Barn styles). A ramp can makes access to your shed much easier, especially if you plan to move lawnmowers or other equipment in and out. Including shelves in your shed adds storage options from the start and a vent can help keep your building cooler in the summer.
